Alive at Last is a non-profit organization seeking to mobilize communities to encourage and equip survivors of sexual exploitation to build new lives.
It's a largely unknown, widespread epidemic and Alive at Last was formed in 2011 in response to rampant sexual exploitation of women and children in every city around the world. The tremendous need to offer hope to the hurting and break the cycle of sexual exploitation continues to demand action.
When a close friend took over as Executive Director, she knew the first step to increasing funding and volunteering required more awareness of the fact that sexual exploitation is so widespread and debilitating for victims.
With no web presence yet, she reached out to me in 2014 to develop a visually-pleasing website to inform the public, recruit volunteers and accept donations. With the new site came a name change (from DFW Hope Springs) and a new brand identity for Alive At Last.
